Does Your Child Dress Up for Halloween?

So here is the question: DO YOU DRESS YOUR CHILD UP FOR HALLOWEEN? I have two children, one is 8 years old and the other; 15months. I allowed my eldest child to dress up for Halloween only once. Halloween is believed to be a night of ghouls and goblins. My dilemma is that there are so many cute little costumes for children these days that I am thinking of actually allowing my children to dress up from this point forward. Not that my beliefs have been altered but it is more along the lines that I think it is okay to have my children dress in costumes such as angels, M&M's, Panda bears etc... and also take them trick or treating. Hmmmmm.. this is just something that is on my mind because the season is approaching us. So I guess I still have some time to decide but Im still not sure.

  1. Hey, it's me Kenya. Are you a Jehovah's Witnesses?? Girl, Halloween and Christmas are the two holidays I NEVER work. I love to take my kiddies trick or treating. Maybe because growing up my mom never took us trick or treating becuase she always worked 12 hour shifts. So you always want better for the kiddies, so we go every year. The best and safest places are the local church carnivals, their free and the kids have fun playing the games. They get candy if the win or lose, I love it.

  2. No, not a Jehovah's Witness. lol. As a child we rarely got dressed up nor did we trick or treat. WHEN I was able to dress up I was a cheerleader or angel..lol (funny to think about right?). And when we went trick or treating it was only at the church or at a mall during the day. Nothing at night.
